Answer:

As a small midwestern farmer who lliving in the early 1900s, the biggest problem I face is a lack of quality seeds for crop production.

Explanation:

As a small midwestern farmer who lived in the early 1900s, the biggest problem I face is a lack of quality seeds for crop production. My proposal to solve this problem is to promote an association between other producers, to create a seed bank that has a high germination power and to distribute among all of us. This must be done with the collaboration of farmers who have been successful in producing efficient seeds, which donate seeds that can be reproduced. For this, we need someone with technical and legal knowledge who can organize the association correctly and benefit all participants, stipulating all the advantages that would be acquired with the association.

PART A: How does the Missouri Compromise and slave revolution interact within the text?
olga2289 [7]

Answer:

The correct answer is C) Slaves who heard of Congressional support of the Missouri Compromise were encouraged to revolt.

The other options of the question were A) The Missouri Compromise encouraged slaves sold to Missouri families to revolt and run away before they could arrive in the controversial state. B) The Missouri Compromise encouraged slaves to resist revolution in the hopes that those against slavery would soon abolish it in the United States. D) Slaves who heard of Congressional opposition to the Missouri Compromise were encouraged to revolt.

The Missouri Compromise and slave revolution interact within the text in that "Slaves who heard of Congressional support of the Missouri Compromise were encouraged to revolt."

The news about some Congressmen opposition to slavery spread quickly and a black man Denmark Vesey who was not a slave in South Carolina delivered a speech against slavery in the African Methodist Episcopal Church of Charleston and organized a rebellion of slaves in 1822 to escape to the island of Haiti. But the rebellion had a "whistle-blower," and the organizers were killed.

How was the Vikings life style ?
Reptile [31]

Answer:

Daily life for most men and women during the Viking Age revolved around subsistence-level farmwork. Almost everyone lived on rural farmsteads that produced most of the goods used by the people who lived there.

The work on a farmstead was divided by gender/sex. Women were customarily charged with the tasks that were performed “within the threshold” of the house, while men were charged with those tasks that lay outside of the house.

The two main tasks of women were producing clothing and preparing food. Women baked, cooked, made alcoholic drinks, and made dairy products such as milk, butter, and cheese. Milking sheep and cows were tasks that fell to women as part of this process, even though those activities were often performed outside of “the threshold.” In winter, the animals were in the homesteads’ longhouses, and so would have been inside a threshold, but in summer the animals were out grazing and were watched over by shepherds who could be either male or female.

Agricultural work, as opposed to food preparation, fell to men. This involved fertilizing, plowing, sowing, harvesting, and threshing. During the harvest, however, all members of the household would typically join in the work, since it was so laborious that all available hands were needed, be they male or female.

What are some US immigration events in 1850-1900?

please list 3
Free_Kalibri [48]

Answer: In the span of about 50 years, there were about 20 major and minor population migrations.

Explanation:

In the second half of the nineteenth century until the beginning of the 20th century, over 12 million migrants immigrated to the United States. The reasons were mostly economic in nature but also religious.

In 1860, a large number of Poles and Russians came for the aforementioned reason. These two national groups' continuous settlement can be followed until 1914 when about 2 million Poles and Russians immigrated.

In this context, we will also mention one event that caused population movements in the United States. In 1863, the Union banned slavery and allowed African Americans to join the military, causing large-scale migrations of the African-American population to the north.

Around 1880, primarily due to Italy's poor economic situation, a huge number of Italians immigrated to the united states. Since then, more intensive settlement of Italians in the unification of the state has begun.
