Acetic Anhydride poses a hazards from exposure to mouth, nose and throat, skin, eyes that can cause cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, skin burns, blisters, redness and pain in the eyes, abdominal pain and shock.

when working with acetic anhydride, safety precautions include:
