Why was Caesar known as a tyrant?

One of those actions was his marching on Rome at the head of his army, where he met little resistance and he took control of Rome by force had destroyed completely te previous system.  Caesar came across as brutal and harsh, and therefore his actions have been misinterpreted and misunderstood.
