Nick having tried to obey his parents by aligning himself to the India culture and way of living is a welcome development and should be encouraged by all and sundry. It should also be noted that aligning oneself with the culture and tradition of ones people does not abhor marrying across his boundaries. Relationships, especially marriage, is a very delicate issue and should be handled with utmost care and diligence. Other aspects of culture are for identities while marriage is emotionally articulated. Nick have no relationship issues with his former fiancee but for the pressure from the parents on marrying from his tribe. Fate has a meticulous way of blending homogeneous species.

Nick and Maxine were meant to tie the nuptial. Nick having done with acquainting himself with the cultural heritage of his people was now equipped with the appropriate requisites to make the rightful choices. He later moved back to the US for search of a job to eke a living. It was in the course of the search that he ran into a friend who asked him to put up with him in his apartment after a protracted search for a befitting apartment. His friend, Tom in several occasions in their discussions have made references to his wonderful friend and neighbour, Angelis.

Nick later joined Tom in his apartment after a futile search for his own apartment. He did not meet Angelis because she embarked on a training tour outside of New York. She stayed for couple of months and her memories was gradually fading off the mind of Tom for the barrier of distance. Though, Tom and Angelis frequently talk over the phone but he has not found any reasons whatsoever, to show Gogol his social media profile. Nick also never cared to ask about this wonderful lass because he did not know the extent of the emotional involvements of the duo in the branded not formal relationship.

The unbelievable happened as Angelis informed Tom of her plans to return to New York having concluded her training session. Tom was hilarious to hear about the news of her return and offered to pick her up from the airport on arrival. Tom expressed his uncontaminated joy as he asked Nick to accompany him to the airport to welcome and pick-up Angelis at arrival. Nick without much persuasions agreed to accompany him for the journey.

On the fateful day, they both set-off from the office to pick-up Angelis at the time of her arrival. Their flight did not touch down the tarmac after a prolonged delay due to bad weather.  Nick got tried of waiting and opt for leaving but Tom continuously pleaded for more patience as they await the arrival of the much honoured friend and neighbour.

Finally, came the log awaited flight, which almost got crashed for loss of signals from the Radar. On demounting from the flight, Tom sighted her and  barely wait for her to conclude her checks. He dashed across the lounge and embraced her with warm pecks. He help her with her luggage and asked her to meet his friend Nick. Angelis on reaching to shake Nick found it was her old lost fiance and got freezed. Tom gazed in utter bewilderment as the long awaited friend and neighbour was a family.
