Z= (X-μ)/σ

Since it's the same distribution then they have the same mean μ & the same standard deviation σ

1st  Z==> 1=(56-μ)/σ ==> σ =(56-μ)/1 ==>σ =(56-μ)

2nd Z ==>-0.5 = (47-μ)/σ==>σ =(47-μ)/(-0.5) ==> σ=-2(47-μ)

Hence I can write (56-μ) = - 2(47-μ) ==> μ = 50
Replace μ = 50 in any of the above & you will find σ=6

Find the gradient and the intercept shown by the straight line 2x + 3y = 6
sveta [45]

Answer:

\sf gradient =\dfrac{-2}{3}\\\\ y -intercept = 2

Step-by-step explanation:

<h2>Equation of the line in slope intercept form:</h2>

      \sf \boxed{\bf y = mx +b}

Here m is the slope or gradient and b is the y-intercept.

Write the given equation in slope-intercept form.

  2x + 3y = 6

          3y = -2x + 6

            \sf y =\dfrac{-2}{3}x +\dfrac{6}{3}\\\\     y = \dfrac{-2}{3}x + 2

\sf gradient =\dfrac{-2}{3}\\\\ y -intercept = 2
