“No religious Test” shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States. In regards to religion, the meaning of the excerpt is that citizens cannot be blocked from a political position based on religion.

Further Explanations:

As per the Constitution, the “No Religious Test Clause” is granted to the citizens as per Article VI and Clause 3. It states that none of the individuals can be discarded from holding an administrative post or bureaucratic office because of his religion. Clause 3 as quoted by the supporter, Separation of the Church and State was the instance of the actual intent of the framers to avoid any kind of disputes amid the Church and the administration. It also opposes the involvement of administrative services on the basis of religious practices or beliefs . The clause was important because as it represents the original aim of the framers even before the establishment of the clause ,during the implementation of the “Establishment Clause” as per the “First Amendment”.
