B) 326 cm3.
The volume of the mug is \pi r^{2} *h
r - radius,
h - height

The radius of the mug is 7/2 (half the base) = 3.5cm

volume of the mug = 3.5^2 * PI * 9 = 346 cm3

20 ice cubes = 20 cm3 that you need to substract from 346, that gives 326 cm3.

The volume of the mug is the area of its base · the mug's height, or \pi r^{2} h. This is 3.5 cm · 3.5 cm. · 9 · \pi, or 346.2 cm^{3}. The volume of each ice cube is 1 cubic centimeter, so 20 of them will occupy 20 cm^{3}. This leaves 326 cm^{3} for the coffee.

If r and s are positive integers, each greater than 1, and if 11(s-1) =13(r-1), what is the least possible value of (r+s)?
Tresset [83]

Answer:

The least value of (r+s) is (12+14)=26

Step-by-step explanation:

Well, first let us solve equation of 11(s-1)=13(r-1), which results in 11s-11=13r-13. Hence, 11s+2=13r. It is stated that r and s both are integers and greater than 1.

To make sure that r and s are integers, the least value of s must be equal to 14 (s=14) then the least value of r becomes 12 (r=12).

Finally, the least value of (r+s) is (12+14)=26.

An angle measures 112º more than the measure of its supplementary angle. What is the
Alexeev081 [22]

Answer:

The angles measure 34 degrees and 146 degrees.

Step-by-step explanation:

The supplement measures x.

The angle measures x + 112.

The measures of supplementary angles have a sum of 180 deg.

x + 112 + x = 180

2x + 112 = 180

2x = 68

x = 34

x + 112 = 146

The angles measure 34 degrees and 146 degrees.

A television normally costs $1,420. Due to a store sale, the television is now $1,022.40. What was the percentage taken off the
Anettt [7]
The TV is 28% off. You can verify this by dividing 1022.4 by 1420 and getting 0.72. That's how much of the price you have to pay.

So you just subtract .72 from 1 to .28
