kathy became addicted to alcohol in her teen years, which factors influenced her drinking? check all that apply
murzikaleks [220]

Answer:

There is a lot of evidence to suggest that a family addiction history is an indicator of the likelihood of addiction.  If Kathy's family had an addition history, she should have not experimented with any form of substance use.

Explanation:

Some people drink because they like the way alcohol makes them feel.  If they drink in moderation or occasionally, there may be almost no addiction potential.  However, in Kathy's situation, her family history showed that individuals in her family who start drinking, more often than not, lose control and become addicted.

Peer pressure can be a real problem that leads to substance abuse. It is possible that Kathy felt pressured to drink and did not have an adequate support system or adult monitoring at hand,

If Kathy's parents did not see underage drinking as an issue, they were setting Kathy up for big problems.  Teens who have parents who establish and enforce behavioral guidelines and reinforce legal mandates are much more likely to avoid substance abuse.

Children who are able to access alcohol and other addictive substances are more likely to experiment, and in some cases, become addicted.  It was irresponsible for Kathy's parents allow Kathy access to alcohol.

Advertising portrays the use of alcohol to be fun, exciting and socially inclusive.  It is possible that these messages contributed to Kathy's decision to start drinking.

Given her family history, the accessibility of alcohol, peer pressure and lack of good parenting, Kathy was doomed to addiction from a very early age. hope this helps you or A,B,D,E hope this helps you :)

The safety catch for the 4th wheel locking lever must be ___ for a coupling to be complete.
aliina [53]

The safety catch for the 4th wheel locking lever must be over the locking lever for coupling to be complete.

What is the importance of coupling?

  • If needed, use a flashlight.
  • A void between the top and lower fifth wheels must not exist.
  • If there is room, there is a problem (kingpin may be on top of closed fifth wheel jaws; trailer would come loose very easily).
  • Look into the fifth wheel's back by crawling underneath the trailer. Make sure the kingpin's shank is enclosed by the fifth wheel's jaws
  • Ensure that the locking lever is set to "lock."
  • Verify that the safety latch is over the locking lever. (On some fifth wheels, the latch needs to be manually installed.)
  • Drive the linked unit sparingly if the coupling needs to be repaired.

Hence the answer is over the locking lever.

Congenital disorders of glycosylation are a growing class of rare diseases. Which organelle would be most commonly involved in t
Nat2105 [25]

Answer:

Golgi apparatus.

Explanation:

Glycosylation is the reaction in which a carbohydrate, i.e. a glycosyl donor, is attached to a hydroxyl or other functional group of another molecule. In biology, glycosylation mainly refers in particular to the enzymatic process that attaches glycans to proteins, or other organic molecules.

The Golgi apparatus is the cell organelle responsible for the modification of the protein before sorting and secretion. They play a major role by modifying the protein by adding short sugar chains. Hence Golgi apparatus would be involved in any disorders of glycosylation.
