First you subtract the total number of red jelly beans from the total number of all jelly beans. 15-2=13
then you put how many you have left into a fraction over the total amount of jelly beans. 13/15 and divide them to get a percent. 13 divided by 15 equals 0.86666666667
so for a percent you move the decimal two to the right and you need to round 87%
