Answer:

You could write about how with the Jim crow laws, people who weren't white did not have equal opportunities, they did not even have little things like equal water fountains! Many people said it was fair, but in reality it was far from fair. There were signs all over the place like, "Whites only" or "No colored, or Mexicans" So that really went against "All men are created equal"

Hope this helps :)

22.Identify the word or words in the sentence that need to be capitalized.
djyliett [7]

22. The correct answer is A.

<u>The sentence would now look like this:</u>

Do the boys who live down the street want to visit Washington D.C. with us?

At the beginning of a sentence, you always need to capitalize the first letter. Cities, towns, countries, villages, regions, etc are always capitalized too. The word street here does not need it because it is not specified what street. If you would use <em>"31st Sydney Street",</em> then you use it.

23. The correct answer is A.

<u>The sentence would now look like this:</u>

Does Jennifer like to visit Florida in the summer?

At the beginning of a sentence, you always need to capitalize the first letter. Names and titles of people are also capitalized, for example, the Queen of England or Bradley Cooper. The same goes for cities and countries like the United States of America or France.

24. The correct answer is B.

<u>The sentence would now look like this:</u>

Will you be coming to the stadium to watch the Giants play on Sunday?

At the beginning of a sentence, you always need to capitalize the first letter. Brand names (including sports teams) are also capitalized, such as Adidas, Nike and the Giants. Days of the week (and months) are too.

Who fears that his own mistakes may have angered god and brought his wrath on Salem
IgorC [24]

In "The Crucible", by Arthur Miller, the character that fears that his own mistakes may have angered God and brought his wrath on Salem is <em>Reverend  John Hale</em>. Hale is a young minister, expert in witchcraft who is in Salem to examine Betty, Parris's daughter. He is an intelligent man and doesn't fall on blindly trying to blame everybody of witchcraft. Instead he fears his presence has brought God's wrath on Salem. "Let you councel among yourselves; think of your village and what may have drawn from heaven such thundering wrath upon you all."
