Metamorphism is the addition of heat and/or pressure to existing rocks, which causes them to change physically and/or chemically so that they become a new rock. Metamorphic rocks may change so much that they may not resemble the original rock.

It really depends on which war the question is referring to, but if it's referring to WWII the answer would be true.
The extrusive igeous rock cools very fast and is made by lava, but because it cools so fast extrusive igneous rocks they have really small crystals. Now the intrusive igneous cools really slow beneath the surface, and is made by magma.
