Answer:

Once Anne first reaches at the annex, this woman can't stop thinking about Peter Schiff, a boy she spent a lot of time with a summer before he decided Anne was too young for him. Still, Anne is convinced that it is true love and that one day they will be together. Anne transcribes, "He is sweetheart Peter like I have never loved anyone, and I tell myself that he just hangs out with all those other girls to hide his feelings for me."

Author doesn't think double almost Peter van Daan, the sixteen-year-old boy who moves into the annex with his parents. Anne sums it up as "... a shy and awkward boy whose company will not be too much." Sometimes he doesn't even seem to like it, referring to him as a lazy.

She feels sorry for him because his parents are constantly arguing, and they have a propensity for physical and emotional abuse towards Peter, but his hypersensitivity and constant complaints about health problems are irritating.

It is sufficient to infer the context of a piece based purely on the title. True or false?
Semenov [28]

Answer:

This is FALSE.

Explanation:

Each piece of writing does have a title or sub-title. But, it is not correct to infer the context of the piece based purely on the title. Because the whole text would provide more detailed information on the given heading. It would elaborate different or related aspects of the given title.

So, to properly understand the whole writing, it is not correct to conclude the meaning of the writing depending solely on what the title is.

Ali likes to sing, paint, and to play soccer.
Sunny_sXe [5.5K]

The correct wording is "Ali likes to sing, paint, and play soccer".

What makes the difference in the word?

The use of "to" in the sentence is unnecessary because we are expressing the actions that Ali likes in the complete sentence.

Hence, the correct word to be use should be "Ali likes to sing, paint, and play soccer"
