The words that stand out to me the most, when it comes to making this claim was "at the age of six" and that "knew she felt it" because the narrator knew about the character's back story, however it is only pertained to the main character, which is Maisie. The effect of this point of view, is that it shows a very detailed representation of what is going through the character's mind and giving somewhat more of a description about Maisie and her story.
