The correct answer is C. The U.S. Constitution gave each brand of government the ability to control the others

Explanation:

Check and balances is a principle of government that establishes each of the branches (judicial, legislative and executive) can check or "control" the actions of the other branches, this guarantees all the branches act according to the law and the constitution and keeps balance in the power. This principle was applied to the U.S. Constitution and government, and due to this, each branch has an influence on other branches and can control or check these. For example, the President (executive branch) is also the chief of the military forces, but it is the Congress (legislative branch) the one that can declare war. According to this, the correct option is C.

Is it true that early humans made the woolly mammoth go extinct or was there other factors that made them go extinct?
borishaifa [10]
There were of course other factors. While early humans did hunt them a lot due to the profits which they received from it (A lot of food, bones they could use for homes, fur they could use for clothing, etc.), there were also other factors such as less food for them which made them less mobile through different geographical regions, etc. (and therefore more susceptible to being hunted) that had played a part in their extinction.
