Raising you hand is very important. It keeps the classroom from getting too chaotic. You can understand what students and teachers are saying. You can learn in a safe environment. Everyone wouldn't be talking all at once. By raising your hand, you are keeping the noise level down. This helps neighboring classrooms as well as yours. Raising your hand is an important rule that needs to e followed in order for the classroom as safely as it can.

Raising your hand is an important rule in school. This rule was made to keep order in the classroom. If no one raised their hands the classroom would be chaos. No one would be able to learn or hear one another. It would be too loud and no one would know who was speaking. This is why raising your hand is a rule that should be followed.

Telling how travel in the 1800s is the same or different from travel today.
solmaris [256]

Answer:

Hi luv! Traveling is different from what it was in the 1800s. Back then, we didn't have cars yet which would mean that people had to either A. Walk every where or B. Ride a horse/ horse and carriage. We now have cars which helps us travel from point a to point b in a shorter amount of time than what it would be back then. We also now have planes which can make us go from point a to point b in hours instead of having to travel months on boats. Have a nice day!

1. Read the following sentences from "Day of the Butterfly."
Colt1911 [192]

The correct answer is A. The speaker's tone is troubled but intrigued.

We can tell the speaker is troubled because she says, "I did not know what to do." She says she shouldn't be seen with the girl and that she does not want to be walking with her. Therefore, she is troubled.

However, she is also intrigued, which is why she continues to walk with her. The speaker says, "on the other hand, the flattery of those humble, hopeful turnings was not lost on me." Ultimately, the speaker "could not resist" continuing along.

Therefore, the speaker's tone is troubled but also intrigued.
