Explain yourself

At this point in the play, Francisco is at his watch. Barnardo comes upon him to relieve him from the watch for the night, but Francisco cannot tell that it's Barnardo approaching. Barnardo also cannot tell it's Francisco at the watch so he first asks "Who is there?" Francisco, since he's on duty. replies asking Barnardo to identify himself, or explain himself, first.

The best way to rewrite "unfold yourself" is EXPLAIN YOURSELF.

Nay, answer me. Stand, and unfold yourself.

In this line, the person is urged to answer. He is then invited to stand up and give his answer or to explain himself.
