The ethnic conflict that led to violence in Sri Lanka is "Sri Lankan Civil War".

Explanation:

The root cause which led to Civil War in Sri Lanka lie on the ongoing political conflict between the Sinhalese majority and the Tamil minority. The origins of current violence lie in the colonial rule of Britain when the country was called as "Ceylon".

The Civil War of Sri Lanka was started on 23 July, 1983 and fought on its Island due to an spasmodic uprisings happened by the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) or the Tamil Tigers against the government.

Their motive was to establish a freedom Tamil state at north and nation's east by naming it as "Tamil Eelam". But in May 2009 the Sri Lanka's military defeated the Tamil Tigers after military campaign (26 year), bringing the end to the civil war.

Which conclusion is supported by the fact that docile farm animals such as cows and horses injured many people each year
enyata [817]

Hello. This question is about the article "Livestock-Handling Related Injuries and Deaths".

Answer:

"It is estimated that about 30 farmers are killed each year from contact with farm animals, primarily horses and cattle."

Explanation:

The above sentence is the one that best supports the claim that docile farm animals, such as cows and horses, injure many people each year. This is because the sentence shows a statistical data, carried out through a research survey, which proves the author's statement. This shows that handling these animals has a risk, even if they are seen as docile and peaceful, since they have strong physical strength and lack rationality.
