Answer:

A hypothesis is a tentative/ preliminary statement of the relationship between two or more variables. It is a specific, testable prediction about what you expect to happen in a study.

Explanation:

In science, the hypothesis is an idea or explanation that you then experience/test through study and experimentation. Outside science, theory or guess can also be called a hypothesis. The hypothesis is nothing more than an unbridled, wild guess but less than a well-established theory.

So, we can conclude that The hypothesis is a simple statement that defines what you think the outcome of your experiment will be.

Why are producers so important
katen-ka-za [31]

Answer:

C

Explanation:

Producers are also known as autotrophs, which they make their own food. Producers capture sunlight energy and use it to convert CO2 (carbon dioxide) and H2O (water) into O2 (oxygen) and C6H12O6 (glucose) for other organisms to use. This process is called photosynthesis.

The length of bamboo grows much faster than that of thickness why?
iren [92.7K]

Using a slow- and fast-growing variant of bamboo, Wei and colleagues looked at cell division, growth, and gene expression (through transcriptomics, which measures all the genes being expressed by an individual) to discover which genes may be responsible for fast growth in bamboo. They found that the slow-growing variant had reduced expression of genes relating to cell wall construction, the plant hormone auxin (important for cell growth and cell division), and had irregular cell growth and cell walls. Wei and colleagues suggest that a reduced ability to produce and perceive auxin, combined with a weakened cell wall, are responsible for the slow growth seen in the bamboo variant.
