Anthony's school plans to eliminate art, music, and drama classes in order to add extra science and math electives. Many student

s, like Anthony, look forward to these arts electives as a break from their core academic courses. Others have been working on auditions for college applications. They need these classes to adequately prepare for college.
Anthony feels strongly about challenging the school's decision. Which action would have the greatest impact?

A.) Bring his friends, their parents, and teachers to the next school board meeting where they can show samples of their work and tell the board how the arts classes have benefited them.
B.) Write a column for the school newspaper about how the school already offers enough math and science courses and how students need a creative option in their electives.

Go with option A. It's a good idea. If you go with the column idea, the school is just going to counter by saying that those already existing science and math classes don't do enough, or something along those lines.
But if you can show the school board how many people feel strongly about this issue, you might be able to get them to back down. There is strength in numbers.

Answer:

Unnecessary Constraint

Explanation:

This is a kind of barrier to problem solving in which the person places a barrier to innovative thought of solving a problem.

Johnny has placed a boundary on the task at hand, hence, he founds it difficult to see any other solution to his problem apart from the one he has always employed.

Johnny's  imposed constraint has stopped his innovative thought of finding an alternate route to his Grandmother's place without making use of the path he is used to taking.
