What conditions made life difficult for homesteaders what helped homesteaders survive give examples
expeople1 [14]

Homesteaders living on the great plains were what you call "Extremely Dramatic". There were lots of conditions on the great plains that affected settlers lives. Here are these problems; building houses, staying healthy, extreme weather, lack of fuel, Indian Attacks, lack of isolation, keeping clean, lack of water, and pests and vermin. The problem with the bugs were grasshoppers. Grasshoppers ruined their crops. Building houses from wood was expensive. The settlers couldn't afford building houses from wood, so they built it from sod. The walls and floors were infested with bugs and lice, because these homes were built from dirt and grass. It would leak in the homes when it rained. They also had problems staying healthy because of the insects. The insects that flew around would inject disease into their bodies. In other words, There are three things that helped them survive, and 3/3 of these examples issued technology. 1.) Barbed wire, 2.) steel plow, and 3.) windmills. The barbed wire was for housing reasons, the steel plow was for cutting through tough prairie sod, and the windmills for pumping water out of the ground. :)

Describe the initial criticism to the Equal Rights Amendment from women in the labor force.
tekilochka [14]

Answer:

The the initial criticism to the Equal Rights Amendment from women in the labor force was that traditional gender norms would be changed.

Explanation:

The major criticisms of the Equal Rights Amendment was that some people feared that that would be the end of the traditional gender roles and would wrench havoc in families.

Another reason was that not all women would benefit, because while it would benefit a handful, it wouldn't benefit a majority.

Henry has been arrested for stealing a car belonging to the local highway department. He was found by the side of a local highw
PtichkaEL [24]

Answer:

No impact.

Explanation:

In some countries, states do not have the autonomy to formulate their own laws. The US is not one of those. In the state territory, although there are laws that apply throughout the country, each state can formulate its own laws and these must be followed within the limits of the state and punishable by those who disobey. The law of each state must be judged in its home state and cannot be imposed on another state that does not accept that law as the rule to be followed. Thus, in relation to the above question, we can conclude that if state law in the neighboring state requires that interrogation be recorded on video, that law has no impact on state interrogation that does not require such recording.
