The question says 'this' vase. But there isn't any picture of the vase provided here. So I'm considering it as 'the' vase, an ordinary vase, and based of that I'm providing an explanation.

Answer: Option A, Option B, Option C, Option F.

Explanation:

If I would be writing a poem on vase then I would mostly certainly include the topics of beauty, imagination, creativity, and art.

A vase is a container for displaying flowers, which symbolizes beauty. The poem will include the beautiful description of the vase. Creativity and art go hand in hand. There should also be the inclusion of the structure of the vase, its color, and its appealing design.

A good poem is the one where the poet uses his creative imagination. A poem is nothing without imagination. And thus inclusion of this topic is mandatary. With my own imagination I would try to illustrate the vase from a different perspective, thus giving the poem a meaning.

laiz [17]

Answer:

To create suspense, writers must reveal details gradually so readers want more.

Explanation:

Lee Child's "A Simple Way to Create Suspense" is an essay where he narrates or rather expressed his take on creating suspense in his works. The essay provides his approach to making a suspenseful work rather than directly approaching the climax in a story.

In the given paragraph from the end of his essay, he states that there are numerous ways to make work interesting. He agrees that <em>"Attractive and sympathetic characters re nice to have; and elaborate and sinister entanglements are satisfying .... [added with] impossible-to-escape pits of despair"</em>. But all these are<em> "luxuries"</em> which provide not enough thrill. Rather, he opines that<em> "the slow unveiling of the final answer" </em>is the basic narrative fuel of any work.

Thus, the <u>central idea of the passage is that writers must reveal details slowly and gradually so that the readers will want more, creating a suspenseful environment. </u>

Read the excerpt from Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry.
Vlad1618 [11]

Answer:

D. It shows that there were white citizens who treated African American citizens in unjust and humiliating ways.

Explanation:

Mildred D. Taylor's novel "Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry" revolves around the story of a 9-year old girl named Cassie Logan. It deals with the theme of racism and how the blacks survived in white America.

In the given excerpt, Cassie narrates how she 'became' the slave of Lillian Jean and how she enjoyed being addressed<em> "Miz"</em> by<em> "her little colored friend"</em>. This shows how the whites see themselves as superior to the blacks while the blacks think it's normal for them to be treated as such.

Thus, this scene shows how white citizens’ treatment of African American citizens was unjust and humiliating.
