Does anyone one how to solve this problem
aliya0001 [1]
( \frac{2}{3} - \frac{1}{6} )÷( \frac{2}{5} - \frac{1}{3} )
The first thing you must do it to solve the fractions inside the parentheses first
\frac{2}{3} - \frac{1}{6} = \frac{4}{6} - \frac{1}{6} which is \frac{3}{6} or \frac{2}{3}because you must get a common denominator in order to solve. The common denominator is 6. So you must multiply in order to get 6. \frac{2}{3} *6= \frac{3}{6} Then you do the other fraction: \frac{2}{5} - \frac{1}{3}= \frac{6}{15} - \frac{5}{15} which is \frac{1}{15} because 15 is the common denominator and you must multiply the denominator to get 15, thus, you must multiply by the same amount for the numerator. So now it is \frac{3}{6}÷\frac{1}{15} but when dividing, you just need to flip-flop the second fraction and then multiply across. Now it is \frac{3}{6} * \frac{15}{1} = \frac{45}{6} But to simplify, you find a common factor which is 3.
45÷3=15 and 6÷3=2 which is now \frac{15}{2}
You answer is C)\frac{15}{2}
