Answer: BETTY FRIEDAN

Details:

Betty Friedan was an early leader of the feminist movement in the United States. Her important book, The Feminine Mystique, published in 1963, argued that women in America were being misled into an unfulfilling and unhappy way of life. They were made to believe that fulfillment and happiness as a woman came from being a wife, mother, homemaker. But Friedan's studies of women showed that women were not happy just from that, that they were hungering for something else. Their whole identity was coming from their roles or relationships to others in the home, not from who they actually were themselves.

Friedan's book challenged the existing patterns that existed in American society and pushed for women to have more of their own value for their own sake. As she said (in chapter one): "We can no longer ignore the voice within women that says, 'I want something more than my husband and my children and my home.'"

Nitella [24]

Answer:

They don't care

Explanation:

Extreme right wing organizations, especially the Ku Klux Klan, chose violence as a means to fight against the civil rights movement because as far as they're concerned black people aren't people, they are objects to be owned and possessed and discarded off when no longer useful. They don't want black people to have the same rights as them, no matter the consequences because they think they're doing everyone a favor.

An is an agreed truce or temporary end of hostilities?
Lapatulllka [165]
A "treaty" is an agreed truce or temporary end of hostilities, since this takes place when two belligerents wish to stop fighting--either due to one side being defeated (or being close to defeat) or both sides viewing a cessation of hostilities as being favorable.

In your opinion, why do you think Alexander Hamilton wanted to pay back the bonds from the confederation government?
sveticcg [70]

Answer:

He wanted the federal government to inherit state's debts. ... Hamilton argued that by holding the bondholder's money and continuing to increase their interest payments, the bondholders (who were the most influential citizens) would have a larger stake in preserving the new United States Government.
