George Washington led soldiers in which war?
krok68 [10]

George Washington led soldiers into the Revolutionary War. The Revolutionary War happened between 1775-1783 and was the colonists fight for freedom. They did not want to be ran by Great Britain anymore, and wanted to become their own country. They were sick of having "taxation without representation", and Great Britain obviously taking advantage of them. George Washington was a very influential figure in the Revolutionary War. He was the commander of the Continental Army, which included individuals from all 13 of the colonies. When George Washington got back from fighting in the war, he ended up serving two terms as the United States president.

Choose 2 Amendments. Explain what they are and use them in two examples of how they affect your everyday life.
avanturin [10]

Answer:

The 13th Amendment made slavery completely illegal in the United States.

The 15th Amendment gives everyone the right to vote.

Explanation:

If these two Amendments weren't in play then the US would probably still look like the 1780s. So in my opinion, these two Amendments are the most important Amendments.
