The correct answer is E. Was the first book to focus on the impacts of endocrine-disrupting chemicals

Explanation:

"Our Stolen Future" was a book published in 1996 by three authors in which they showed evidence of chemicals that worked as endocrine-disruptors mainly through narratives and chronicles. Indeed in this book, the authors prove there are chemicals that interfere with the hormone or endocrine system and this can led to birth defects, cancer, and other issues in health. This book was especially important because it was the first book in the U.S. that showed the impact of endocrine-disrupting chemical which led to extensive research and regulations to deal with this issue in public health. Therefore, it can be concluded, "Our Stolen Future" was important mainly because it was the first book to focus on the impacts of endocrine-disrupting chemicals.

A person travelling from Delhi to Norway alters the time on his watch at several places because the _________________.
myrzilka [38]

Answer:

East to West or longitudianl extent is very great.

Explanation:

The world is divided into 24 time zones. Each of the time zones is set at 15 degrees difference, and they go from east to west. In practice, this means that when someone is taking a longer trip from east to west or the other way around, needs to adjust the clock because of passing through different time zones.

In this case, we have Delhi in India and Norway as a whole (though presumably, the person will land in the southern part of Norway). The difference in time zones between the part of India where Delhi is located and Norway varies as Norway's territory falls into three time zones, so it can be a 3, 4, or 5 hours difference. Now considering that Norway's biggest cities and most of the population are located in the southern third of the country, the chances are that the person in question will have to adjust the clock to 5 hours difference.

Alex787 [66]

Answer:

Explanation:

There are many way that the vocanic eruption in japan have an impact on Canada. ONe of them is finacially, with all the damage done in Japan the country would have to spend millions to restore what has been destroyed. With this said Canada is ocean neighbors with Japan so all of the debris from japan would cross over to B.C. therefore the Canadian government would have to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to clean up what has washed up on the shores. Also since canadiasn are so empathetic, they would most likely donate money to aid the Japanese, adding to the cost.
