Geography

Answer:

All tectonic plates contain both oceanic and continental lithosphere

Explanation:

The tectonic plates are large puzzle like matching pieces on the surface of our planet that are constantly moving. The movement is caused by the mantle convection from below the lithosphere.

There are two major type of tectonic plates, continental tectonic plates and oceanic tectonic plates. Some plates are large, while some are smaller.

Larger plates are the North American, Eurasian, African, Pacific etc. Smaller plates are Cocos, Nazca, Arabian, Scotia etc.

Doesn't matter how a plate is classified, an oceanic or continental one, all of them have both continental and oceanic lithosphere. At the continental plates, the continental lithosphere is dominating, while the oceanic lithosphere is usually o the margins. At the oceanic plates, the oceanic lithosphere is dominating, while the continental lithosphere is manifested through the islands.
