Increased atmospheric carbon dioxide negatively affects coral reefs by: select one:
Ksenya-84 [330]
Increased atmospheric carbon dioxide will diffuse to the ocean water (since normally, there is lower concentration of dissolved carbon dioxide in the ocean water). The dissolved carbon dioxide takes into the form of carbonic acid thereby increasing acidity of ocean water. More often than not, the acidification of ocean water leads to detrimental results especially in marine organisms that are pH sensitive such as coral reefs and many invertebrates.

The membranes of both B cells and the cancer cells are largely composed of phospholipids. Explain how, when the membranes are fu
andrey2020 [161]

Answer:

The cell membrane separates the external and internal environment of the cell. The cell membrane is composed of bilayer lipids, proteins and small amount of carbohydrates.

The lipid part is soluble in hydrophobic environment or with the hydrophobic part of other phospholipids because like molecules dissolve in like molecules. The hydrophobic part is non polar and hydrophilic parts is able to dissolve in polar area due to the interaction of same molecules with each other.
