What three things determine the divisions of the ocean zones? REPLY ASAP!
kvasek [131]
Sunlight. Based on the sunlight you receive you have three zones.
1. Sunlight zone- There is enough sunlight here and photosynthesis can happen. More than 90% of marine animals live in this zone.
2. Twilight zone- A small amount of light is here and no plants grow here. The fish who live here are the ones who have adapted to the little light. Lantern fish is an example.
3. Midnight Zone- 90% of the ocean is in this group. It is entirely dark and the temperature is freezing.

What is true about genetic material in prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells?
Stella [2.4K]
The answer is -Prokaryotic cells have single strands of DNA, and eukaryotic cells have multiple chromosomes.

The main difference between prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells is that eukaryotic cells have long tangled strands of DNA packed in the nucleus, and prokaryotic do not have nucleus and their DNA is short stranded. Since DNA strand are very long in eukaryotic cells, they are organised in chromosomes. The number of chromosomes is different for each species, and 23 chromosomes are characteristic for humans.

Answer:

              B) They are not in the same species.

Explanation:

Cat and dog both are domestic animals but the can not interbreed to produce fertile offspring. Specie is define as those animal which can interbreed to produce fertile offspring so the cat and dog can not interbreed as they belong to two different species. Both species have different chromosome number that's why the can not interbreed. In order to interbreed both the organisms must belong to one specie. E.g As both tiger and lion live in one environment and the interbreed and produce tiglion but it is infertile and can not breed to produce offspring.
