Answer:

Muscle tissue

Explanation:

Muscle tissue is responsible for producing movement and is made up of highly specialized cells to perform contractions. Its cells are elongated, multinucleated or not, containing in their cytoplasm large amounts of contractile protein filaments, among them the main ones: actin and myosin. It is a highly vascularized and innervated tissue, a great energy consumer and heat producer.

Its cells have a mesodemic origin and differed by the elongation of cells and the production of contractile filaments. It is these filaments that, consuming energy from the breakdown of ATP, contract, sliding over each other.

It is important to note that muscle cell cell structures have special names. The cell membrane is called a sarcolemma; the cytoplasm is the sarcoplasma; and the smooth endoplasmic reticulum is the sarcoplasmic reticulum.

Survivorship Curves for Three Different Types of Organisms
emmasim [6.3K]

Answer:

As the picture for the curves is not given, lets look at the type III species generally.

Explanation:

A survivorship curve can be described as a graph which represents the number of individuals which are able to survive to a particular age for each given species.

The Type III species can be described as those species of the survivorship curve which have a high death rate immediately after death. This is because these organism tend to produce a wide number of eggs and as protection is not taken for them by the parents, hence most of the fertilized eggs or zygotes tend to die. These organisms hence produce a large number of eggs so that some of them will have the capability to survive.
