The correct answer is letter C

Following the territorial expansion plan, the Japanese would only have to defeat the American navy in the Pacific Ocean. To that end, in December 1941, the Pearl Harbor base in Hawaii, belonging to the USA, was attacked by surprise by the Japanese Air Force, this fact was marked in history as the attack of Japanese kamikazes, a heterodox attack, where Japanese pilots threw their planes against the American base. At the end of the attack, the venture carried out by the Japanese fleet had an effect, Pearl Harbor was completely destroyed and Japan had 29 planes shot down.

From then on, President Roosevelt of the United States sent US troops to fight in World War II, but this fact was not the only reason for US entry into the war. For a time, Roosevelt entered into diplomatic agreements with English Prime Minister Winston Churchill; together, they signed the document called the Atlantic Charter, whose content was contrary to the Nazi fascist ideology and totalitarian policy.

The entry of the USA was a major factor in the victory of the Allies (England, France, Russia), the Americans had a strong and organized army and an enormous military capacity. The first American victory during World War II took place at the Battle of Midway in 1942, defeating the Japanese navy.
