These movements often project the government the desire of common people or a group who want to bring a change in society for the good of everyone</u>. There were many advocacy groups during the period of the 1960s who supported different types of violent protests in order to get their things done by the government but many of the groups also used Nonviolence resistance effectively during that period of time. One of the example, Nonviolence resistance in 1960 was ‘Draft Resistance’. <u>During the period of the Vietnam war, There were many groups of young people who resisted the Military of the United States by using the method of Nonviolence resistance because they refused to corporate with the selective service system.</u> Many students also joined this Nonviolence resistance as they protested for civil liberties, Feminism and Racism.
