Yes.

"Most" must be understand as more than half.

Then more than half of the managers enjoy mentoirng employees and more than half are people oriented, then some (at least one) managers both enjoy mentoring oriented and are people oriented. Which make true that some people-oriented individuals enjoy mentoring employees.

Suppose you have 6 pairs of socks in your sock drawer. It is still dark out in the morning when you get dressed, so you just pul
Debora [2.8K]

Answer:

8/33 = 0.242

Step-by-step explanation:

There are 12 socks to begin with and one is taken;

The second is picked from the remaining 11 and will either match the first or not;

The probability of matching is 1/11 and 10/11 for not matching;

If the sock matches, no further sock is taken;

If the socks don't match, a 3rd sock is taken;

The 3rd sock is taken from the remaining 10, 1 of which will match with the first sock and another which will match the second;

Therefore, the probability of taking a matching sock on the third pick will by 2/10 or 1/5 and the probability it will not match either of the first two is 8/10 or 4/5;

Once again, if the sock matches either of those previously taken, no further sock is taken;

If the socks don't match, a 4th sock is taken;

Now, there are 9 socks remaining in the drawer;

Picking is repeated;

The process is logical;

The attached picture shows a tree diagram representing this information in an easily digestible way and makes it easy to work out the desired probability;

With tree, diagrams, you just multiply across until you get to your desired outcome;

In this case, we are finding the probability of picking 5 socks exactly;

Each process splitting represents the picking of a sock;

The probability will be:

10/11 × 8/10 × 6/9 × 4/8 = 8/33 = 0.242...

The total charge on 8 particles is −56 units. All the particles have the same charge.
kirza4 [7]
You have to divide negative fifty-six by eight to get the charge on each particle. So you do -56/8. Which gives you negative seven as the answer.

Zoya asked the students of her class their baseball scores and recorded the scores in the table shown below: Baseball Scores Sco
nlexa [21]

Answer:

4.06

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :

Scores     Number of students

 0                     1

 1                      2

 2                     5

 3                     3

 4                     6

 5                     7

 6                     9

To Find: Mean

Solution:

Mean = \frac{\text{Sum of all scores}}{\text{number of students}}

Mean = \frac{0 \times 1+1\times 2+2\times 5+3\times 3+4\times 6+5\times 7+6\times 9}{1+2+5+3+6+7+9}

Mean = \frac{134}{33}

Mean = 4.06

Hence, The Mean of baseball score is 4.06 .

<u>Pythagorus theorum:</u>

9² = 3² + YZ²

81 - 9 = YZ²

√72 = YZ

∴YZ= 8.48 ≈ 8.5

<u>Trigonometry:</u>

We have adjacent as 3, and hypotenuse as 9

cos X = 3/9

X= cos∧-1 (3/9) → <em>[cos inversed]</em>

∴X= 70.5°

We have opposite as 3 and hypotenuse as 9

sin Z= 3/9

Z= sin∧-1 (3/9)→<em> [sin inversed]</em>

∴Z= 19.47 ≈ 19.5
