Business

Answer:

A person's individual ethos truly reflects his/her business ethics too. Although general ethics in general is not influencing job performance (both in terms of effectiveness and efficiency) directly, bad ethics can sometimes be detrimental for someone's career. For example, if it is to be discovered that an employee has taken full credit for a colleague's achievement, his/her credibility will drastically fall and he/she will have less chance to get promoted.

On the other hand, if an individual possesses exceptionally good ethics or values (for example, being constantly sincere and not afraid to be direct with somebody even when it gets uncomfortable), it will certainly become noticed both by colleagues and managers. Thus, the employee with good ethics is very likely to get promoted.

Answer:

a type of purchasing contract in which the price of a good or service is tied to the cost of some key input(s) or other economic factors, such as interest rates.

Explanation:

A contract can be defined as an agreement between two or more parties (group of people) which gives rise to a mutual legal obligation or enforceable by law.

There are different types of contract in business and these includes: fixed-price contract, cost-plus contract, bilateral contract, implies contract, unilateral contract, adhesion contract, unconscionable contract, option contract, express contract, cost-based contract, etc.

A cost-based contract is a type of purchasing contract in which the price of a good or service is tied to the cost of some key input(s) or other economic factors, such as interest rates.

Price can be defined as the amount of money that is required to be paid by a buyer (customer) to a seller (producer) in order to acquire goods and services.

In sales and marketing, pricing of products is considered to be an essential element of a business firm's marketing mix because place, promotion and product largely depends on it.

What are the two significant issues regarding the ceo pay debate? (check all that apply.)
Mrac [35]

The two significant issues regarding the ceo pay debate are -

a) the relationship between firm performance and CEO pay

b) the size of the CEO compensation in relation to average employee pay

Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) often receive large sums of money in the form of salaries and bonuses from commercial companies. This is sometimes defended by a peer-to-peer argument; roughly "our" CEO will be paid  what other CEOs of comparable companies receive.

On the face of it, this seems like a bad excuse for morally outrageous compensation schemes, and thus this argument has been overlooked in the philosophical literature in the past. In contrast, however, this article provides a defense of the peer-to-peer argument. In addition, it is shown how rigorous examination of this argument sheds  light on incentive-based and desert-based theories of fair wages.

A company's prime costs total $5,200,000 and its conversion costs total $9,200,000. if direct materials are $2,100,000 and facto
Elanso [62]

Answer:

Direct labor= $3,100,000

Explanation:

Giving the following information:

Prime costs= $5,200,000

Conversion costs= $9,200,000.

Direct materials= $2,100,000

Factory overhead= $6,100,000

To calculate the direct labor, we need to use the conversion and primer costs formula.

Prime costs= direct material + direct labor

5,200,000= 2,100,000 + direct labor

$3,100,000= DL

To prove it:

Conversion costs= direct labor + Factory overhead

9,200,000= DL + 6,100,000

3,100,000= DL
