Who believed the masks he painted were magical and were mediators between humans and evil?
Rina8888 [55]
On Gardner's Art through the Ages: The Western Perspective, Volume 2, it was written that Picasso has a different perspective in understanding art. He believes that the masks are not ordinary but contains magic that becomes a medium between human and the forces of evil. In the book, it stated that he wanted to capture this power as he tried to express it on his paintings.

Picasso was inspired by primitive art as well as African and Iberian culture. During his time, art works look strange and unique and were based on the colonizer's findings on their conquered lands.

Why is photography truly a modern art form
azamat
In the field of photography, there was a tough and controversial fight  with regards to being considered as art form. Because of the diverse areas photography is used to and the variety of applications it derived into, it is made as a skeptical art medium.  But, because of its diverse usage like scientific photography and commercial photography, mass distribution of modern cameras, digital cameras make it hard to be considered as an art form.Nowadays, photography rose to popularity and it is already considered as an art of like any other.  Multiple museums and galleries showcasing photographic works are already built pushing it to fame, thus considered as modern art form.
