Answer:

ADH (anti-diuretic hormone) also known as vasopressin released from the posterior pituitary. This hormone helps the kidney to absorb more water and maintains the water level.

The ADH maintains the thirst level and the maintenance of the absorption of the different ions in the body. When the level of the ADH hormone evoke out or elicited, the individual experiences the great thirst as body needs water for the maintenance of physiology.

Answer: a person experience greater thirst, during periods

when ADH release is elicited.

Explanation:

The hypothalamus gland of the dehydrated person releases the Anti-diuretic (ADH) hormone by the pituitary gland. This hormone signals the kidney to reabsorb water from the concentrated urine, and diluting the blood plasma.

The thirst response is triggered by the body in response to the osmoreceptors which detect the decrease in water level in the blood. This triggers the release of ADH from the posterior pituitary gland. In situations of greater thirst the ADH release is elicited.

tigry1 [53]

Answer:

Homeostasis is the tendency of any system to maintain the internal environment constant. Homeostasis is very much important and each organ system help in maintaining homeostatic condition in the body. Without homeostasis, we cannot survive.

If a homeostasis condition gets failed they it may cause diseases or disorders in the body, for example, parathyroid hormone is released when blood calcium level gets low. It increase blood calcium level by releasing calcium from bone.

If this homeostatic condition gets failed and parathyroid hormone is released in the blood abnormally it can cause a disease called hypercalcemia. Therefore homeostasis is important for the body.
