If the box is truly a cube, then all 3 of its dimensions are the same . . . the cube root of 90. There's no "might" about it.

What is the total surface area of the rectangular pyramid below?
Sergio [31]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Alright, lets get started.

The total surface area of rectangular pyramid will be the area of all four faces and area of base.

The faces are triangular, so area will be = \frac{1}{2}*base*height

Area of face = \frac{1}{2}*16*14=112

Another face area = \frac{1}{2}*12*15=90

Each face has its similar another face. So total area of faces will be = 112+112+90+90=404

Area of base = 12*16=192

So total surface area = 404+192=596 square feet

Hence the total surface area is 596 square feet.   :   Answer

Hope it will help :)

Are two figures that have the same size and shape similar?
iogann1982 [59]
No, they're not, if a figure obtains the same shape, and size doesn't mean they're similar. Even though they have two similarities, volume and mass come into play. Figures of all shapes and sizes, even those that are the same, can embody a different volume and mass.

Example: Toni has a sphere that's the same size of sphere B. Toni has to figure out why one sphere is different from the other. What are some reasons why the spheres are not similar?

Well, the objects can be made out of different materials. Sphere A could be made out of wood while Sphere B could be made out of copper. Same object, same size, different mass, and volumes. As we know, copper is typically heavier than wood, so, it really all comes down to what the object is created with.

I hope I helped :)
