I am pretty sure the answer is D. I know that because in B and C it says that line segment A'B' and C'D' intersect and it clearly does not. Now that leaves A and D behind. A is wrong because it says A'B' and C'D' are closer than AB and CD. So D is the only correct one I guess. I hope this helped!

choli [55]
1. You con solve the quadratic equation x^2+20x+100=50 by following the proccedure below:

2. Pass the number 50 from the right member to the left member. Then you obtain:

x^2+20x+100-50=0
x^2+20x+50=0

3. Then, you must apply the quadratic equation, which is:

x=(-b±√(b^2-4ac))/2a

x^2+20x+50=0

a=1
b=20
c=50

 4. Therefore, when you simplify, the result is:

 -10±5√2 (It is the last option).

Plz help solve: Find the side length of a square with an area of 15/6 cm^2
PolarNik [594]

Answer:

1.58 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of a square = length ²

Area of the square = 15/6 cm²

Area of a square = length ²

15/6 = length²

Find the square root of both sides

√15/6 = √length²

√2.5 = length

1.58 cm = length

Alternatively,

√15/6 = √length²

√15/√6 = length

3.87 / 2.45 = length

1.58 cm = length

Therefore, side length of the square = 1.58 cm
