They are directly listed in the Constitution. Delegated powers are specifically granted to the federal government. This includes the power to coin money, to regulate commerce, to declare war, to raise and maintain armed forces, and to establish a Post Office.

In the period from 1865 to 1900, southern factory workers
Leya [2.2K]

Answer:

Option D, often earned wages insufficient to support their families adequately, is the right answer.

Explanation:

In order to recover the economy, the United States encouraged the factory system and underwent the Industrial Revolution. Though all the output came from the machines, the owners required workers to operate the machines. Since lots of people were unemployed, they usually accepted to work at low wages. Sometimes the wage was so low that the workers failed to support their families.

Which of the following was an effect of nativism in the United States in the 1920s?
bearhunter [10]
First question: D- people who were living in America at the time, didn't want other people to come in and "steal their jobs". To me, nativism (at the time) was a pretty stupid thing, considering how many of the people who didn't want anyone else coming into the country, were immigrants themselves.

Second question: D is the closest answer, seeing as Roosevelt wanted to improve relations with Central and South America.

Hope this helps!
