The role of religion in the rise and decline of Axum was due to the introduction of a new religion, the Islam, which spread  across Africa and the Middle East. It was a long process when the ancient Kingdom of Aksum (now Ethiopia and Eritrea) started to lose power southward. Consequently, the Islamic powers took advantage of the Axum decline and gained control of the lands near the end of the 7th century.

Which provides residents with close access to high-paying jobs and cultural attractions?
Alenkasestr [34]

Answer:

The city

Explanation:

After the Industrial Revolution, the process of urbanization took place. This refers to a trend of people from agricultural communities moving to urban communities (cities). The main reasons for this was because cities provided people with access to high-paying jobs and cultural attractions. Life in the city was meant to be more lively and rich. However, since the 1950s, many families have decided to move outside of cities (to suburbs), as these were considered to be better for young families.
