Answer:

b.American patriots were rebels who wanted independence from Britain, while American loyalists were loyal to the British crown.

Explanation:

The American patriots were the people that wanted the American colonies to become independent from Britain. Most of them became Patriots because they felt they were not being treated fairly by the British with high taxes.

The Loyalists were the ones that did not want independence from Britain and remain a British citizen. Many believed that life would be better if they continued to remain under British rule. Many were workers from the crown, others believed the colonies did not have a strong economy.

The Great Awakening of the settlers had three determining effects:
(1) The ministers established their own schools and churches in all the colonies, which was to cause a new education proper to the colonies, where ideas of freedom could prosper far from the old English Protestant schools.
(2) New religious beliefs were much more democratic than British English, and with its message of equality and demortia, the Great Awakening churches would soon become places of free thought and democracy in the colonies.
(3) The Great Awakening of the settlers was the first event considered "national", in which all 13 Colonies could participate, giving them an identity and a union that had not previously been presented. Altogether, these three points would be precursors of an own identity and in turn of the search of the freedom.

how does the work of historians and archaeologists help explain why we know more about recent events than ones that occurred ear
notsponge [240]

Answer:

While archaeologists have uncovered useful information about the past, most of what goes into a textbook like this one comes from the work of historians. Historians study how people lived in the past. ... The historian tries to find the answers. Historians then must interpret the evidence, explaining what it means.
