Answer:

appealed to disaffected white voters in the South.

Explanation:

The "Southern Strategy" which was widely associated with the former United States President, Richard Nixon, was a response to the civil rights movement and dismantling of Jim Crow laws in the 1950s and 1960s, which has caused more racial tension in the southern part of the U.S.

Souther Strategy was generally considered as a Republican Party electoral strategy to increase political support among white voters in the South by appealing to racism against African Americans.

Hence, When Richard Nixon employed his "Southern strategy," he appealed to disaffected white voters in the South.

What could they add to their argument against slavery that would make their argument stronger or more convincing?
nydimaria [60]

Answer:

If I were to add something that would make my argument against slavery more convincing I would probably say something like what is the roles were switched, would you want to be a slave?

When people went to Africa or when they bought slaves they would often say something like it was in the bible and because of this that it was okay when this was not true so you could possibly use that to help your argument against it. There are probably better answers out there but I wrote a argument against slavery once and I used this stuff in and got a pretty good grade.
