Paleolithic age was the age in the history which is also known as the stone age. It was given this name because the people of this age, mostly used tools which were made out of stones for their use.
There fore it got the name of stone age. The people in this age used sounds which were of different types to express themselves and to communicate with each other. This was also the time of cave paintings which people used to do on the stones or came up with fire.
