52 - 40 = 12(extra hours she worked)

12 * 12 = 144(her extra money for working extra hours)

So, $144 is her EXTRA cash for working those 12 extra hours. But we're not done, we need to found out her REGULAR pay for the 40 hours she worked.

8 * 40 = 320

320 + 144 = 464

Christine's weekly paycheck was $464.
