Instead of manufacturing goods, many American companies prefer a foreign country because it saves them a lot of money. To built a manufacturing company it needs infrastructure with good facilities for the workers. Workers would have to be trained in new modalities of assembly and production. This all will take time and would eventually bring less profit. The countries in Asia considered being the best place to manufacture goods because the counties like China, South Korea, Vietnam have created an environment to produce goods at a low price. The cost of paying manpower is low and the production is high which attracts the Americans companies to invest here.
