Answer:

109 square feet.

Step-by-step explanation:

109 in: = 109/12 = 9.0833333.... = 9 5/60 = (540+5)/60 = 545/60

Area = L*w

L = 545/60 feet

W = 12 feet

Area = 545/60 *  12

Area = 545*12/60

Area = 545 /5 = 109 square feet.

Qual é o comprimento do arco correspondente a um ângulo ao centro de 45 graus, numa circunferência de raio 3 cm ?
beks73 [17]

Answer:

2.4 m

Step-by-step explanation:

A fórmula para o comprimento do arco é dada como:

Comprimento do arco = 2πr (θ / 360)

Onde r = raio = 3cm

θ = Ângulo em graus = 45 °

Comprimento do arco = 2 × π × 3 (45/360)

Comprimento do arco = 2.356194m

Aproximadamente = 2.4 m

Who created multiplication ?
Anuta_ua [19.1K]

Multiplication is a very old concept in math. So old that it dates back to ancient egypt, mesopotamia, etc. Each place probably came up with the concept on their own parallel to one another, or trade helped make the concept spread. It's very likely that the actual person who came up with the idea is unknown and won't be known since the concept is so ancient. It's like asking "who came up with the alphabet" which is an equally old concept.

Side note: multiplication is repeated addition. So if we added 3+3+3+3+3 to get 15, then we can say 3*5 = 12 as a shortcut. So its likely ancient peoples were adding the same number to itself over and over, leading them to develop a shortcut notation/method to get the answer quicker.

Barry wants to cut a wooden board that is 16 feet long into sections measuring 2 2/3 inches long. how many sections can john cut
inna [77]
1 feet = 12 inches
16 feet = 16 x 12
16 feet = 192 inches

I section = 2 2/3 inches

192 ÷ 2 2/3
= 192 ÷ 8/3
= 192 x 3/8
 = 578/8
 = 72

It can be cut into 72 sections.
