<span>The Laissez faire economic policies had many outcomes, For instance, businesses paid their workers very low pay. Also, the air and water suffered high rates of pollution. The idea of free choice also created poverty traps that people were unable to escape. In a market that allows businesses to exploit consumers, a natural monopoly would and did occur.</span>
