Answer:

Frank Inn trained animals to be actors.

Explanation:

A topic sentence should be concise and an instant summary of what follows in the paragraph. The ideal answer would be one that encompasses what the paragraph details.

While I do agree with Epictimegamer's point on looking at the perspective of the paragraph on a whole, the focus should mainly be on what a topic sentence is supposed to be. Not vague, but instead short and sweet to the point of the reading.

Hope this helps!

Answer: The answer is the third option.

Explanation: Frank Inn did hold many jobs in his life, which is the most unique aspect of this paragraph. Any other answers are redundant because they are derived through common sense. However the third option gives us new information and a more accurate perspective on the paragraph.

Which ending to the scene would create the most suspense?
gavmur [86]

Answer:

C. "Marjorie," Russ said. "Listen carefully. There's something you need

to know."

Explanation:

Option C would be the best ending to the scene that would create the most suspense because it began with Russ telling Marjorie to listen carefully which first gets Marjorie's attention and she is eager to hear what he wants to say.

Then, he proceeds to tell her that there is something she needs to know. This is the clincher because he already has her attention by telling her to listen carefully and then ending the scene by informing her that she needs to know something brings the most suspense.
