History

balandron [24]3 years ago

They were considered to be cheap source of labor when compared to indentured servants and African slaves were in use for some thousands of years in American colonies.

Indentured servants were mostly from Virginia and they were rebellious. They possessed weapons and arms in order to protect themselves from pirated and burglars. African slaves were not permitted to be equipped with weapons. They were made slaves on the basis of their color and ethnicity.

Slaves included both men and women who were capable of doing farm work but indentured were only men and their rebellious attitude made the English men to prefer slaves than indentured servants.

Why are they called Flappers?
Zinaida [17]

Answer:

The term flappers originated in Great Britain, where there was a short fad among young women to wear rubber ( an overshoe worn in the rain or snow ) left open to flap when they walked. The name stuck, and throughout the United States and Europe flapper was the name given to liberated young women.

Which of the following statements is true about women in ancient Aryan society?
ololo11 [35]
What statements do you mean? Well, I also have my answer here:

For millenia Aryan woman has been the nurturer and bearer of offspring. Just as the role of the man and father is clearly outlined by nature so is that of the woman and mother.

With the granting of "equal rights" has come the mistaken perception that the role of the woman and mother is essentially similar to that of the man and father and men and women could and indeed should swap roles. Over the last 10 years or so we have witnessed the absurdity of the "stay at home father", the "househusband" and the "careerwoman/mother".
This unnatural reversal of traditional gender role models will sow the seed of confusion in our young and add to the further destabalisation of western society.
