Answer:

The Hadrian's Wall was finalized in 126 AD and was a reflection of Hadrian's peaceful police. The idea was to determine the limits of the Roman Empire and avoid invasions from the High Lands (Scotland). This ambitious construction project was completed in six years through the work of the Roman legions stationed in Britain. Actually, Hadrians gave orders that each legion should built a part of the wall, and rise guard towers in the wall's extension. Using stones and wood, about 15,000 auxiliary soldiers were assigned to work along the wall.

Stells [14]

Massacres of Armenians were carried out in the late 1800s and early 1900s by the Ottoman government.

Armenian Genocide

 • During World War I, the Ottoman Empire deliberately destroyed the Armenian people and their culture, which is known as the Armenian genocide.
 • It was carried out chiefly through the forcible conversion of Armenian women and children to Islam, which was spearheaded by the ruling Committee of Union and Progress, and the massacre of about a million Armenians on death marches to the Syrian Desert.
 • A string of military defeats and territory losses for the Ottoman Empire, especially the Balkan Wars of 1912–1913, instilled in CUP leaders a worry that the Armenians, whose country in the eastern provinces was seen as the heartland of the Turkish people, would seek independence.

alekssr [168]

Answer:

May 28, 1830: President Andrew Jackson signs the Indian Removal Act, which gives plots of land west of the Mississippi River to Native American tribes in exchange for land that is taken from them.

1836: The last of the Creek Native Americans leave their land for Oklahoma as part of the Indian removal process. Of the 15,000 Creeks who make the voyage to Oklahoma, more than 3,500 don’t survive.

1838: With only 2,000 Cherokees having left their land in Georgia to cross the Mississippi River, President Martin Van Buren enlists General Winfield Scott and 7,000 troops to speed up the process by holding them at gunpoint and marching them 1,200 miles. More than 5,000 Cherokee die as a result of the journey. The series of relocations of Native American tribes and their hardships and deaths during the journey would become known as the Trail of Tears.

1851: Congress passes the Indian Appropriations Act, creating the Indian reservation system. Native Americans aren’t allowed to leave their reservations without permission.

prisoha [69]
I believe the answer is C) It wanted control over foreign lands and people.
The Roman empire took over many different countries and turned a lot of the conquered people into slaves. They spread their ideas and religion, but mostly just wanted to be very powerful.
