Answer:

Points A, F, and G

Explanation:

Collinear Points are points that are on the same line.

Consider these three statements from above:

1. Line k intersects diagonal line l are point A.

2. Line l intersects line m at point F.

From 1 and 2, the points of intersection of a line with another line is on both lines. Therefore point A and F are on line l.

3. Point G is also on line l.

Points A, F and G are all on line l and are therefore collinear points.

Given the information below, what is m ZCBE?
AC intersected by BD and BE.
Pachacha [2.7K]

Answer:

Angle CBE = 48 degrees.

Explanation:

I'm doing the same math quiz right now and was pretty stumped. However, it was actually really easy once you think about it enough!

Please make sure to reword my answer and remember as stated already at the beginning of the quiz, the angles are not drawn to scale.

Step 1: Take the stuff that equals CBE, turn it into an equation, and solve.

 • 5x + 42 = 7x + 6
 • x = 18

OPTIONAL: Plug 18 for x into the equation and you'll get 132 = 132, making it a true answer.

Step 2: Plug 18 for x into the angle measurements.

ABD: 42 degrees (given)

DBE: 5(18) = 90 degrees

CBE: Take 180 and subtract both 42 and 90. You get 48 degrees, which is your final answer.

Why do winter and summer climates vary more widely in much of eastern Europe?
Zarrin [17]
Due to two factors..
The first factor is the placement of Europe in relation to latitude lines.
Up north is bound to be more cold than most places down south near the Mediterranean sea. (Which is closer to the equator)
The second factor is the physical geography of the region. Ranging from mountain ranges like the Alps and the Urals to the flat planes of much of mid Europe. The weather interacts with these regions and determines the climates making up much of the continent. (Only takes a rudimentary understanding of basic earth science and geography to understand that. The percentage of a rock’s total volume that has pores and spaces is referred to as its _______________________.
Ivanshal [37]

Answer:

Porosity

Explanation:

Porosity is defined as the total percentage of pore spaces that are present within a rock. These spaces are found between the rock particles and fractures and are mostly filled with fluid mixture or water. It is the ratio between the total pore space in a rock to the total volume of the rock. It is mainly calculated in terms of percentage.

Porosity is directly affected by sorting. Well-sorted rocks indicate high porosity but poorly-sorted rocks indicate low porosity. Some of the examples of rocks exhibiting high porosity are limestone, shale, and sandstone. Rocks with low porosity include granite and mudstone.
